In the summer of 2006 when I went to visit my parents, we stayed at a beach house owned by one of their friends. My mom and I took the opportunity to hang out on the deck and dye silk ribbon. 
I've chosen this teal as the side tie for the sweater. I like it -- I might have like one of the pinker ones, but all those are raw-edged, and I think for a baby sweater that is not the best idea.
This is what I'm dealing with as I write this. She is cute, but OW!!
